2-Amino-4-(2-chlorophenyl)-3-ethoxycarbonyl-4H-benzo[f]chromene

Abstract: The title compound, C₂₂H₁₈ClNO₃, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-naphthol with 2-chlorobenzaldehyde and ethyl cyanoacetate. X-ray analysis reveals that the pyran ring adopts a boat conformation.
