Abstract: The title compound, [Fe([9]aneS₃)₂](ClO₄)₂ or [Fe(C₄H₈S₂)₃](ClO₄)₂, contains an octahedral Fe^IIS₆ core, with the Fe atom located on an inversion center. The asymmetric unit comprises two independent half cations and two anions.
