Abstract: The crystal structure of tetra-aqua-bis(acetato-O)cobalt(II), Co(C₂H₃O₂)₂(H₂O)₄, has been determined at 153  K, providing a precise description of the geometric parameters and details of the hydrogen-bonding system operating in the crystal.
