Abstract: The title compound, C38H37NO4, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The molecules have similar geometric parameters and represent opposite enantiomers of the title compound. In both molecules, the pyrrolidine ring adopts an envelope conformation; the pyran ring in the chromanone moiety has a half-chair conformation. The molecular packing in the crystal is stabilized by C-H
O and C-H
interactions, in addition to van der Waals forces.
