Abstract: In the title molecule, C24H44N2, also known as pachysamine A, all four rings are trans fused. The cylohexane rings adopt chair conformations and the cyclopentane ring a half-chair form. The methylamino and dimethylaminoethyl substituents are equatorially attached. The crystal structure is stabilized by van der Waals forces.
