1'-Methyl-4'-tolyl-1H-indole-3-spiro-2'-pyrrolidine-3'-spiro-5''-(thiazolo[3,2-b][1,2,4]triazole)-2,6''(3H,5''H)-dione

Abstract: The title compound, C₂₂H₁₉N₅O₂S, was synthesized by an intermolecular [3  +  2]-cycloaddition of the azomethine ylide derived from isatin and sarcosine by a decarboxylative route and 5-(4-methylbenzylidene)thiazolo[3,2-b][1,2,4]triazol-6-one. In the molecule, the two spiro junctions link a planar 2-oxindole ring, a pyrrolidine ring in an envelope conformation and a thiazolo[3,2-b][1,2,4]triazol-6-one system.
