Tris(hydrogen oxydiacetato)dysprosium(III) oxydiacetic acid monohydrate

Abstract: The title compound, Dy(Hoda)₃.H₂oda·H₂O (H₂oda: oxydiacetic acid) or [Dy(C₄H₅O₅)₃]·C₄H₆O₅·H₂O, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2₁/n and is isostructural with the homologous Y, Gd, and Tb compounds. The structure is described in terms of Dy(Hoda)₃ layers connected by H₂oda molecules and intermolecular hydrogen bonds.
