DL-2-Amino-2-thiazoline-4-carboxylic acid trihydrate

Abstract: In the title compound, C₄H₆N₂O₂S.·3H₂O, the 2-amino-2-thiazoline-4-carboxylic acid molecule is in a zwitterionic form and shows amino-imino tautomerism. There are intermolecular O-HO, O-HN, N-HO and C-HO interactions, forming a three-dimensional network.
