Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₈H₁₀Cl₂O₂, the tetrahydrobenzene ring adopts a boat conformation, and the cyclobutene ring is almost coplanar with the attached phenyl ring. There are two intramolecular C-HO interactions, each forming a five-membered ring. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular C-HO and - interactions.
