Abstract: In the title compound, C18H10Cl2O2, the tetrahydrobenzene ring adopts a boat conformation, and the cyclobutene ring is almost coplanar with the attached phenyl ring. There are two intramolecular C-H
O interactions, each forming a five-membered ring. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular C-H
O and
-
interactions.
