Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₂H₂₈N₂O₆S₂, the 1,4-dihydropyridine (DHP) ring has a flat-boat conformation. The 2-thiophene ring is disordered over two orientations and is approximately perpendicular to the DHP ring. For each ester group, at the 3- and 5-positions of the DHP ring, the carbonyl group is cis with respect to the conjugated C=C double bond.
