Abstract: The crystal stucture of the title compound, [Ni(C₈H₄O₄)(C₆H₆N₄S₂)₂]·3.5H₂O, consists of a nickel(II) complex and water of crystallization. The complex assumes an octahedral geometry formed by one phthalate dianion and two diaminobithiazole molecules.
