A 1:1 diastereoisomeric complex of trans-2-{[(R)-(+)-1-phenylethylamino]carbonyl}cyclohexanecarboxylic acid

Abstract: A novel cyclohexanecarboxylic acid derivative, C₁₆H₂₁NO₃, having a chiral amide group, was synthesized and its crystal structure has been determined. The crystal structure contains two diastereoisomers, namely (1R,2R)- and (1S,2S)-trans-2-{[(R)-(+)-1-phenylethylamino]carbonyl}cyclohexanecarboxylic acid.
