Phenacyltriphenylphosphonium picrate: intra-and interionic C-HO interactions

Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, (benzoylmethyl)triphenylphosphonium 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate, C₂₆H₂₂OP⁺·C₆H₂N₃O₇^-, consists of phosphonium cations and picrate anions stabilized by intra- and interionic C-HO interactions, leading to an extended hydrogen-bonded network structure.
