Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Ni(N3)2(C6H10N4)2], the NiII atom, located on an inversion center, adopts an octahedral coordination geometry, with the basal plane formed by four N atoms of two 2,2'-biimidazoline ligands [Ni-N = 2.0701 (13)-2.1099 (14) Å]. The apical positions are occupied by the two N atoms [Ni-N = 2.1851 (14) Å] of the azide anions.
