Abstract: The title compound, C₆H₃Br₃O₂, possesses normal geometrical parameters. The crystal packing is controlled by bifurcated O-H(Br,Br) and O-H(O,Br) hydrogen bonds and possible weak - stacking interactions, resulting in a chiral structure containing a herring-bone-like motif of constituent molecules.
