Abstract: The title compound, C₁₈H₂₀ClN₃O₅, adopts the keto-amine tautomeric form and displays an intramolecular N-HO hydrogen bond. The configuration around the azo N=N double bond is trans and the dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 10.0  (1)°. Intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds form a three-dimensional network.
