1,3-Bis(2-phenylethyl)benzimidazolium-2-dithiocarboxylate

Abstract: The title compound, C₂₄H₂₂N₂S₂, crystallizes with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit; these have essentially the same geometry. However, the dihedral angles between the planes of the two phenyl rings are 30.8  (1) and 21.6  (1)°, respectively, in the two molecules.
