Abstract: The title compound, (N-2-aminophenyl-5-methylpyrazolylacetamide)dimethoxynickel(II) dichloride, [Ni(C12H14N4O)2(CH3O)2]Cl2, crystallizes in the triclinic space group P\overline 1. The metal atom, located on a center of symmetry, is linked to two organic molecules and has an octahedral coordination, with two N-pyrazole and two O-carbonyl groups equatorial and two methoxy O atoms as axial ligands.
