Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₆H₁₂N₂O₂, is nearly planar, and adopts the keto-amine tautomeric form with an intramolecular N-HO hydrogen bond. The molecules are linked by O-HO hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network.
