Chloro(diethylamino)tris(-diethylcarbamato)dizinc(II): an example of the generality of the threefold paddlewheel structure in carbamatozinc chemistry

Abstract: The title complex, [Zn₂(C₅H₁₀NO₂)₃Cl(C₄H₁₁N)] or [Zn₂{O₂CN(C₂H₅)₂}₃Cl{HN(C₂H₅)₂}], consists of a dinuclear Zn₂(O₂CNEt₂)₃⁺ core bridged by three diethylcarbamate ligands in a _1,3 manner and capped by chloride and diethylamine ligands. This threefold paddlewheel structure is common in carbamatozinc coordination chemistry.
