N-Allyl-N-(2-nitrobenzenesulfonyl)-L-leucine methyl ester

Abstract: The structure of the title compound, C₁₆H₂₂N₂O₆S, has been determined as part of an ongoing investigation into the preparation of N-alkylated amino acid precursors for alkene cross-metathesis reactions for the generation of dynamic combinatorial libraries. The overall molecular conformation is stabilized by intramolecular C-HO interactions.
