Abstract: The title ionic complex, (C12H12BrN2)2[Ni(C4N2S2)2], crystallizes in a monoclinic unit cell, with the Ni atom on an inversion centre. All bond lengths and angles in the anions and cations are normal. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N-H
S and N-H
N hydrogen bonds, and the weak C-H
N interactions of the anions and cations.
