Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C10H10N3+·ClO4-, the cation adopts the normal trans-trans configuration and an approximately planar geometry. Hydrogen-bonding interactions between the cations and perchlorate anions extend this structure into a one-dimensional chain architecture.
