[(-)--Isosparteine]dinitratocopper(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(NO₃)₂(C₁₅H₂₆N₂)], the Cu atom is coordinated by the two N atoms of the bidentate (-)--isosparteine (Sp) ligand and by two O atoms from two nitrate anions, forming a distorted tetrahedron; the two nitrate ligands are coordinated to the Cu atom in a monodentate mode. The dihedral angle between the N_Sp/Cu/N_Sp and O_nitrate/Cu/O_nitrate planes is 27.7  (4)°.
