Abstract: The structure of the title compound, C₂₀H₁₈O₂, has been determined previously [Zaslow & Dubchansky (1967). Mol. Cryst. 3, 297-298], but no three-dimensional coordinates are available. The molecule contains a crystallographic inversion center which lies in the middle of the central benzene ring.
