-acetato-
2O:O')bis[(2-aminopyridine-
N)copper(II)]Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, [Cu2(C2H3O2)4(C5H6N2)2], previously reported by Antsyshkina, Porai-Koshits, Ostrikova, Garnovskii, Sadimenko & Osipov [Koord. Khim. (1987), 13, 836-842] has been redetermined from new intensity data, with appreciably improved precision and successful location of all H atoms. The dinuclear copper unit has crystallographic inversion symmetry with a Cu
Cu distance of 2.6771 (4) Å. The crystal packing is characterized by C-H
O hydrogen bonds.
