4-(3,5-Dimethoxyphenoxy)phthalonitrile

Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, C₁₆H₁₂N₂O₃, is composed of a 3,5-dimethoxyphenoxy group attached to a phthalonitrile group. The structure is stabilized by intermolecular C-HN contacts, in additional to weak van der Waals interactions.
