Abstract: The crystal structure of anilinium nitrate, C6H8N+·NO3-, consists of alternating organic and inorganic layers. The organic layer contains the aromatic groups, and the inorganic layer is comprised of the ammonium groups and nitrate ions. A hydrogen-bonding network of N-H
O interactions is established in the inorganic layer.
