Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C13H15N2O4PS, consists of a benzopyran moiety substituted with a phosphorohydrazone group in position 3. There are two planar groups, viz. benzopyran and methylhydrazone, which are slightly twisted with respect to each other. Owing to the tetrahedral hybridization of the P atom, two methoxy groups are arranged out of the planes. There are intermolecular C-H
O contacts in the crystal structure.
