(2S,3S)-3-Hydroxy-1-(4-methoxybenzyl)piperidine-2-carboxamide

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₄H₂₀N₂O₃, has been obtained as an unexpected product when attempting to prepare (2S,3S)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxybenzyl)piperidine-2-carboxylic acid. The crystal structure involves intermolecular N-HO and O-HO hydrogen bonds.
