Abstract: Molecules of the twinned and disordered title compound, C₁₅H₁₀BF₃O₂, are essentially planar with a high degree of conjugation. The molecular geometry is similar to that of closely related analogues. Molecules pack parallel in the triclinic crystal structure, with some -stacking interaction.
