-acetato-
2O:O')bis[(4-pyridone-
O)copper(II)]Abstract: In the title centrosymmetric dinuclear complex, [Cu2(C2H3O2)4(C5H5NO)2], the two CuII atoms are bridged by four atetate groups, the Cu
Cu separation being 2.6468 (7) Å. Each CuII atom exists in a square-pyramidal coordination environment defined by four carboxyl acetate O atoms and one 4-pyridone O atom. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds give rise to a two-dimensional layer structure.
