3-Nitroso-2-phenylimidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₂H₈N₄O, is of pharmacological interest. It contains an imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine heterocycle, carrying a nitroso group in position 3 and a phenyl group in position 2. Both substituents are almost coplanar with the heterocycle.
