Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₁H₂₁N₃O₃, the pyrazolone and the N atom of the glycine ethyl ester group are essentially coplanar. The compound is a neutral tridentate ligand in an enamine-keto form, stabilized by two strong intramolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds.
