Abstract: In the title compound, {[CuCl₂(tpomb)]·CH₃OH}_n [where tpomb = 1,3,5-tris(2-pyridyloxymethyl)benzene, C₂₄H₂₁N₃O₃], two pyridyloxymethyl pendant arms of the tpomb ligand bridge Cu^II centres via Cu-N bonds to form one-dimensional coordination polymer chains.
