Dichlorobis(phthalazine)zinc(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [ZnCl₂(C₈H₆N₂)₂], the Zn^II atom is coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral environment by two Cl atoms and two N atoms from the phthalazine ligands. There is an intramolecular C-HN interaction between the phthalazine ligands.
