Abstract: The title compound, C₂₁H₂₈O₄, is a steroid derivative used as an intermediate in medicine. In the crystal structure, symmetry-related molecules are linked by a hydrogen bond between the hydroxy group and the carbonyl group at position 3 [DA = 2.825  (4)  Å].
