Abstract: In the title complex, [Mn(C₄H₅NO₄)(H₂O)₂]_n, the octahedrally coordinated Mn atom is bonded by three carboxyl O atoms, one imino N atom and two water molecules. By means of the bridging iminodiacetate ligand, the title complex exhibits a one-dimensional chain structure, with MnMn distances of 5.362  (1)  Å.
