Diammonium hexaaquacobalt(II) bis(sulfate)

Abstract: In the title compound,(NH₄)₂[Co(H₂O)₆](SO₄)₂, six water molecules are coordinated to one Co²⁺ cation, which lies on an inversion centre. The geometry around the Co²⁺ cation is that of an octahedron. The coordinated water molecules, uncoordinated ammonium cations and sulfate anions are linked by hydrogen bonds into a network structure.
