Abstract: The regio- and relative stereochemistry of the title compound, C₁₅H₁₆O₇, has been established by X-ray analysis. The molecular dimensions are normal. Molecules form centrosymmetric hydrogen-bonded dimers through two independent weak C-HO interactions.
