Abstract: The structure of 2,4,6-trinitro-2,4,6,8-tetraazabicyclo[3.3.0]octan-7-one, C4H5N7O7, is reported. The molecule contains two unsymmetrically substituted planar fused five-membered rings with a cis junction between them.
