Abstract: The title compound, [Cu(NCS)₂(C₁₆H₂₄N₂O)₂], is a mononuclear copper(II) complex. The Cu atom lies on an inversion centre and is coordinated by two N atoms and two O atoms from two Schiff base ligands, and two N atoms from two thiocyanate anions. The six atoms around the metal constitute a slightly distorted octahedral geometry.
