Piperizinium hydrogen phosphite monohydrate

W. T. A. Harrison

Abstract: The title compound, C6H12N22+·HPO32-·H2O, contains doubly protonated piperizinium cations, hydrogen phosphite anions and water molecules. The component species have normal geometrical parameters and interact by way of N-H...O and O-H...O hydrogen bonds, resulting in [010] chains of alternating [HPO3]2- and H2O species, crosslinked by the organic moieties. A possible C-H...O interaction is also present.
