O²,O³:O⁴,O⁵-Bis(phenylboranediyl)--D-fructopyranose acetone solvate

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₈H₁₈B₂O₆·C₃H₆O, formed by reaction between phenylboronic acid and D-fructose, is shown to be -D-fructopyranose 2,3; 4,5-bis(phenylboronate) and is analogous to D-fructoboronates previously prepared and characterized by NMR.
