Abstract: In the title compound, C14H16N4OS·2H2O, the five-membered triazole ring makes a dihedral angle of 13.2 (2)° with the six-membered thiadiazole ring. This latter ring is almost planar, with a maximum deviation from the mean plane of 0.357 (2) Å for the methylene C atom. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular O-H
N and O-H
O hydrogen bonds involving the two solvent water molecules.
