Abstract: All bond lengths and anlges in the title compound, C₁₅H₉F₅N₂O₂, an inhibitor of chitin synthesis, are normal. The urea linkage adopts an essentially planar configuration, with an intramolecular N-HO hydrogen bond. Intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds link two adjacent molecules into a centrosymmetric dimer.
