Abstract: The title compound, C11H12ClN3O, is composed of a planar azoenamine skeleton, which forms a six-membered ring through an intramolecular hydrogen bond. In the solid state only the azoenamine tautomer was observed. The molecular packing is through adjacent molecules linked by N-H
O bonds, resulting in a two-dimensional sheet structure.
