Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₆H₁₂O₂, the pyran ring adopts a half-chair conformation. Intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds, in the form of R₂²(8) rings, link the molecules into dimers. In addition, C-H interactions are found.
