Abstract: In the title compound, C37H38N2, obtained by the reaction of 9-chloromethylanthracene and n-propylamine, two 9-anthracenemethylpropylamine moeties are linked through a methylene bridge. The two anthracene ring systems, and the two n-propyl groups, each lie in opposite directions.
