Abstract: The title compound, C₁₆H₁₆ClFN₂O₃, known as a protox inhibitor, was synthesized from 7-fluoro-2H-benz[1,4]oxazin-3(4H)-one. The bond lengths and angles are unexceptional and the heterocyclic ring adopts a screw-boat conformation.
